Wines

Thanks to its excellent "Terroirs", ideally suited for Sangiovese wines, Castello di Lucignano mainly produces wines of autochtonous (native) grapes. The Chianti Classico is only made of Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, whereas the Riserva is 100% Sangiovese.
The range of wines is completed with two IGT-Wines (Supertuscans):

  • IL SOLISSIMO, made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon
  • IL SOMMO, a pure Merlot.
